Indore: An ordinary quarrel amongst children regarding a pencil sharpener turned into a major clash amongst their families. The parents of the involved children got engaged in a fight and reached the area police station to file FIR. The matter was reported in the Chandan Nagar area of the city on Thursday.

According to reports, Sanaa was standing at her house’s roof when a pencil sharpener fell down from her hands and was picked up and taken away by neighbouring kids. The girl reported this to their father Wahid who, as a result, beat his kids for the misdeed.

Later Wahid’s brother went to Sanaa’s house where a fight broke-out over the issue amongst the neighbours. Both the parties then reached the Chandan Nagar police station where they clashed again. The police had to resort to a mild lathicharge to separate them.

The incharge officer of the station Pawan Mishra said that reports have been lodged against Waahid, Akbar and Anwar from one side, and Akram, Shaqeel, and Irfan from the other.
