Lokayukta Special Police Establishment (SPE) sleuths on Wednesday detected assets worth Rs 2.5 crore in a raid at house of a Patwari.

During the raid the team discovered Laxmi Narayan Yadav’s two houses in Hathod and Ambikapuri. He was booked him under Prevention of Corruption Act, SP Virendra Singh said.

The raid revealed two houses in Indore, a JCB machine valued at Rs 20 lakh, two cars, Rs 11 lakh cash, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 10 lakh, insurance policies of Rs 80,000 and nearly 30 bigha agricultural land in Balkakri near Indore, the SP said. Investigation was still on.
