Indore: ‘Indorilal’ has become an enigma for National Investigating Agency (NIA) probing the five terror attacks executed by suspected Hindutva activists across the country. The mystery deepened after a NIA team searched the house of Kamal Chouhan, an accused in the Samjhauta Express blast, in Moorkheda village on Tuesday.

The investigators once again found the name Indorilal on a piece of paper. This time, they found the name as Indorilalji Kalotra.
“We have found the name Indorilal in almost all the searches conducted at houses of suspects in at least three terror attacks including the Samjhauta express and Ajmer Sharif blasts, apart from Sunil Joshi murder case,” a senior NIA officer told DNA.
“We are yet to trace who this person is,” he said. ‘Indorilal’ first crept up when a team of Rajasthan ATS searched the house of one Chandrashekhar Leve from Shajapur in 2009.

Shajapur is also the native place of Ramji Kalsangra, a RSS leader, an accused in almost all saffron terror attacks. Leve was the first person to be arrested in the Ajmer Sharif blast.

During investigation into Ajmer Sharif blasts, the Rajasthan ATS found the name at two places. The charge sheet submitted by Rajasthan ATS mentions Indorilal as a suspect. However, the probe into the name reached a dead end.
The name again surfaced during Sunil Joshi murder case investigation. Joshi’s personal diary carried the name prominently. But MP ATS could not trace Indorilal. Ever since the blast cases were transferred to the NIA, its officers have been trying to trace Indorilal Kalotra.

“The manner in which Indorilal has come up in various probes suggests that his role in the attacks has been substantial,” a NIA officer said.
